Our Story
The Sigma Community Reinvestment and Empowerment Foundation, initially established in 2006 and later updated and renamed as the Sigma 614 Foundation in 2021, is dedicated to enhancing the well-being and opportunities for people of color and the underserved population in Central Ohio. Our mission centers on improving health, education, and economic prospects within communities. The foundation aims to be a guiding force, fostering environments where children are encouraged to excel and empowering individuals to become self-sufficient contributors to their communities. Key values include a commitment to youth intellectual development, economic empowerment of the African American community, and adherence to principles of family, spirituality, justice, and integrity.

We invite you to join us in supporting the impactful work of the Sigma 614 Foundation. As a 501(c)(3) organization, we are dedicated to empowering individuals and strengthening communities by fostering leadership, self-sufficiency, and opportunity.
In 2024, your generosity helped us:
Provide housing assistance to families in need, creating safe and stable environments.
Equip children for academic success through a back-to-school bookbag drive.
Support local family shelters with food donations during summer and holiday seasons.
Spread joy through a holiday toy drive, bringing smiles to children’s faces.
Offer scholarships and mentoring for young men to achieve their education goals.
Support collegiate brothers with financial assistance during times of need.
Empower youth through leadership and personal development programs via the Sigma Beta Club in which we are the fiduciary agent for.
